A Girl Called Eddy has just been confirmed as a special guest of Josh Ritter on his forthcoming UK tour.

Following last year’s successful support tour with Tom McRae, these dates should further enhance her reputation as an emotive performer in possession of an achingly beautiful voice and a rich canon of songs.

A Girl Called Eddy’s self-titled debut album was produced by former Pulp guitarist Richard Hawley and features the band that graced his acclaimed solo release ‘Lowedges’. It will be released via Anti on June 21, preceded by a single ‘Somebody Hurt You’ on June 7.

The tour dates are:
