Release Debut Single ‘Born Without’, 28th February 2005

Johnny4 release their debut single Born Without on 28th February via Redemption Records (Cat No: RRUKCD705).

Formed in 2002 at college in Chichester, Johnny4 are Luke Albery (vocals, guitar, keys), Simon Ball (guitars, vocals), Lee Clarke (bass, vocals) and Andrew McKellar (drums). Inspired by a diverse set of influences including Django Reinhardt, Iron Maiden and Abba, Johnny4 produce perfect guitar pop laden with intelligent hooks and sublime harmonies.

In the past year, Johnny4 have notched up a European tour with Simian and a successful support slot with N.E.R.D. at the Astoria, plus a string of London dates that set industry tongues wagging. Born Without has already received airplay on XFM and is playlisted on Sky Music Choice’s The Alternative show.

The single was produced by Mark Waterman (Ride, Elastica, Ash, Babyshambles) and is a calling card for Johnny4’s debut album, due to be released in November 05.

To promote the release, Johnny4 will be playing two London dates:

Feb 10th On The Rocks, Shoreditch
