New single ‘Texas Burning’, out 24th October

Hot on the heels of a hugely successful UK tour, Patricia Vonne will be releasing ‘Texas Burning’ as the second single from her album ‘Guitars & Castanets’.

One of the breeziest melodies from the album, the song was written when Austin-based Patricia was feeling homesick in New York. Driving, rootsy guitars twang and sigh in harmony with a typically impassioned Vonne vocal on choruses that beg to be sung along to.

The CD single will also include one of Patricia’s Spanish songs ‘Severina’, and the ‘Texas Burning’ video. Shot on the set of 2004 movie ‘The Alamo’, the video was directed, not by Patricia’s most famous brother Robert Rodriguez, but by another talented sibling Marcel.

Patricia Vonne and her band will be touring the UK again in September and playing at Michael Parkinson’s pub (The Royal Oak near Maidenhead) at his personal invitation. The album and her energetic shows have been winning her fans and glowing accolades up and down the country.
