Xavier Floyd Firebird were voted best new band on the Fresh Meat section of Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show on 31st Jan. They also caused a stir after their recent XFM gig in Manchester, with Danny playing a brief impromptu acoustic set from the roof of the tour bus. The policemen who arrived on the scene to restore the peace ended up buying copies of the single!
