Piranha PR was set up in January 2004 by Rosie Wilby. Rosie had worked at Mercenary PR for 18 months on acts including Lostprophets, Spooks, Blood Brothers and Cosmic Rough Riders, and previously was a Time Out music journalist. She is also an acclaimed artist in her own right, having released an album 'Precious Hours' in 2000, and she set up Girls Cross Country in 2002, a touring project for independent female singers and songwriters.

Piranha specialises in national and regional UK press for singer/songwriters, Americana, rock and indie acts.
